Make your own irresistible lipscrub

So recently I've being loving the lush lipscrub. I've hit the pan and with having many different appointments I just haven't had the time to go into town and have a lush splurge. I do love online shopping but sometimes I take it to far and one haul leads to a Mac haul. (Especially when they've just launched there new matte collection, which is just perfect!) anyway my lips are something that need a little tlc I'm not blessed with naturally smooth plump lips. I really should take more care of them. I tend to wear a lot of matte lipsticks so my lips dry out easily and then the lipstick doesn't look so good. The lush lipscrub takes away all the dead skin and leaves them looking as smooth as a baby's bottom. But I've being on the hunt for a good recipe for a handmade scrub for some time. So i took to google and after a quick search I went on a hunt into my kitchen and made my own.
To make your own lipstick you'll need a tumbler glass of tub some brown sugar and some honey. Take a generous amount of sugar and honey and mix until it's stiff and you just can't mix it anymore. Girls! Take note it's a good arm workout! Once done I left to set in the fridge and I simply take it out whenever I want it.

Stayed tuned for more posts.

Skin care routine

For years I have battled with a very oily t-zone. Summer time is a time of year I dread as my oil production increases and if not careful I tend to look sweaty and warm. Definitely not the look you should I'm aiming for! It's taken many trails of high end and drugstore skin cleansers to find a routine that works for my skin without months down the line failing and breaking out. Skincare to me is vital because I believe if you have good skincare your makeup will look effortless and will glide on. Recently this summer I've being loving the Avene Cleanance cleansing gel it is especially formulated for acne prone skin. It has cleared my skin up over 5 weeks and has also cleared my blemish marks. I use this twice a day. The next thing I have being loving is the garnier miscellar water which removes makeup without a fight. Another one from the garnier range which has revatlized my skin care is the garnier gentle toner. I've never being committed to a toner but recently it has helped my skin stop getting dry from acne creams. Finally I have being using the boots No7 day and night moisturisers which have helped rebalance my skin and helps to achieve a smooth surface before applying primer. To me skincare is important and since having comitted to loving my skin more this summer my skin has never being clearer meaning I can apply less makeup as my skin is becoming flawless with a natural healthy glow. Although I doubt I'll put down my benefit watts up highlighter anytime soon as the JLO glow is still in fashion.
