Anastasia Beverley Hills: Self Made palette
Firstly may I apologise for going missing and not being around schoolwork and exams got the better of me. Now I'm back! Carry on reading for a review of the Anastasia Beverley Hills palette
When this palette first came out I longed for it, I eagerly awaited in my room waiting to purchase to come back from prep (homework) to see it had sold out! Cue screams of disappointment and misery. I made the decision to purchase a MUR palette instead but when the youtube tutorials and blogposts hit that ping of disappointment inside me hit again. This month after waiting for it to appear on a selling site it did! I couldn't type the words can I purchase fast enough, 3 days later the palette was mine and I finally owned it. It's a decision I don't regret and has being one of my best purchases of 2015.
The array of colours is brilliant and they just melt into your skin making it a dream to work it. Recently I've being loving a grungy 90's look minus the lip. I love the whole dark smokyish lid and using an orange as a transition shade to make it 'grungy.' Alternatively you can go super glam and girly with the shimmery colours and the pink shade to make it a glam go to look. This is one of the many reasons I love this palette because it is so versatile and easy to work with. Inside the palette you get a free brush which is double ended and easy for the touch ups on the train, instead of fishing around for a makeup brush in your back. The packaging is a simple grey colour and doesn't take away from the beautiful colours inside. Overall I am in love with this palette and hope I go through to 2016 with it being a favourite of mine
